Is it better to be lucky, or good? How about good and lucky? Which pretty well describes Officer Schneider's game. Behind the plate, he was good, calling one heck of a game as pretty much every reliever in the Nationals organization combined for 9.1 innings of three-hit, shutout relief. And when it really counted, when we really needed a break, Officer Schneider got lucky at the plate, reaching twice on errors and scoring the tying and winning runs. When an incumbent is both lucky and good, a smart party gets behind him.

Delegate Count: Soriano 6, Zimmerman 6, Riker 4, Chief 3, Schneider 2, Patterson 2, O'Connor 2, Ramono 2, Pedro Armas 2, Tex 2, Livo 2, Vidro 1, Church 1, Barbarian 1, RC 1, LeCroy 1.
